Rodney Atkins Fan

I first heard of Rodney back in 2003 with his song "Honesty". I became a full fledged fan in 2006 after hearing "Going Through Hell", which became his first number one single. He didn't stop there though, he wrote a song for his son, Elijah, "Watching You". He was finally rewarded for all of his hard work in 2007 by winning at the Academy of Country Music Awards for New Male Vocalist!

I decided to create Rodney Atkins Fan as a tribute to Rodney. My daughter and I met him twice.  When we did, he was too handsome, we forgot our car keys and a shirt. If you get the chance to meet him, take it, you will not regret it. When we met him for the second time, he gained a lot of respect. A young man in a wheel chair was the first to have a meet and greet with him. Rodney bent down to greet this young man. He took the time to take the time. Some comments in the meet and greet line were "Wow, you don't see that everyday from a country super star".
